WHO WE ARE

Since 1960, the Association of Fundraising Professionals has been inspiring global change and advancing philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs.

Our chapter was founded in 1992 to bring those programs to Northeastern Wisconsin.  We cover a wide geographic region with members located in Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, Door County, Sheboygan, Wausau, Rhinelander, Minocqua, Marshfield and everywhere in between.

We also work in a variety of nonprofits and philanthropic areas including health care, education, human services, arts and culture, animal welfare, environmental conservation, and religious organizations.

Our members range from individuals who spend their entire day fundraising to those who have fundraising as a small part of their job description.  We represent organizations who only have one staff member and those who employee thousands of individuals.

All of that is to say… if you fundraise for a nonprofit organization in Northeastern Wisconsin and have a desire to grow your skills and inspire others, we have a place for you in our chapter.

There’s never been a better time to join our chapter!

WHAT WE DO

Our chapter provides many opportunities to hone your fundraising skills and network with other professionals.  We usually plan an event every month with formats ranging from informal coffee or wine chats to sit down luncheons with experts speaking about specific areas of our work.

Programs are held in multiple locations throughout the year so members can choose to attend events close to home and build a local network of colleagues or travel for larger programs and draw from the vast experience of the entire chapter.  We also provide individualized professional development opportunities so you never have an excuse to stop learning – discounted webinars, online access to the vast network of AFP resources, and a mentorship program to help you expand your skills.
