Nominations are open! Honor Outstanding Volunteers, Philanthropists, and Professionals in Northeast Wisconsin

Dear colleagues and friends:

On behalf of the 2020 National Philanthropy Day planning committee, we are pleased to put forth a call for nominations for the 2020 National Philanthropy Day Awards.

Due to the current state of uncertainty from the effects of COVID-19, we are changing the format to a virtual event this year. The Association of Fundraising Professionals - Northeast Wisconsin Chapter looks forward to celebrating professional fundraisers, philanthropists and our community partners and will let you know event details as they become solidified.

Northeast Wisconsin has a long tradition of philanthropy in our communities, and we invite you to recognize those who have supported your organizations.

Please continue scrolling to see additional descriptions on each of these awards, the nomination materials, and previous award recipients. Please submit your nomination(s) via email to no later than Friday, July 31, 2020 by 4:30 PM (CST). Late submissions will not be accepted.

  • Outstanding Lifetime Philanthropy Award

  • Outstanding Philanthropist Award

  • Outstanding Fundraising Volunteer Award

  • Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation Award

  • Youth in Philanthropy Award

  • Outstanding Fundraising Professional Award

Nominating organizations will be notified of the award recipients in early September. Only the names of award recipients will be published in event materials. Names of other nominees will remain confidential.

If you have any questions regarding nominations, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Watch your mail/email in early autumn for your invitation to the virtual event. We look forward to seeing you at National Philanthropy Day!
