About the event
Description:
Have you ever struggled to feel like you had something tangible you could present to a major donor? Or felt pressured to ask for unrestricted gifts even though that's not where your donor's passion is? Many organizations struggle to balance the need for unrestricted funds and the need for fundraisers to have the tools to present specific and believable opportunities to their donors. In this training, you'll learn how to create tools to provide fundraisers with financial resources that will help them align a donor's interest with revenue needs and create offers that will touch the heart of the donor in a transformational way.
Registration is completed through Part 1 for both parts.
September 13, Part 1: will be hosted in person with an option to attend virtually via Zoom.
Focus on understanding the key pieces that make a donor offer meaningful and impactful for both the donor and the organization. In this session, participants will learn how to approach creating a Donor Impact Portfolio to develop offers that are more directly aligned with a donor's passions and interests and learn how to structure the offer itself.
September 20, Part 2: will be hosted via Zoom for all participants.
Will take everything that participants learned in Session 1 and bring it into practical application. This session will involve a mix of group discussions, small group workshops, and live brainstorming for a specific donor you are currently working with. Participants will leave this session with a specific plan for a donor and the tools needed to create a meaningful donor offer.
The program portion will be from noon-1PM for both sessions.
Full participation has been pre-approved for 2.0 CFRE continuing education credits. Learn more about the CFRE credential at www.cfre.org.
