About the event
Join AFP colleagues during Ethics Month as we dig into the findings and recommendations of AFP’s May 2022 research report Speaking Truth to Power in Fundraising: A Toolkit.
AFP’s groundbreaking 2018 sexual harassment survey revealed that harassment is a widespread problem for the fundraising profession. Follow up research gives a deeper view of the intersection of gender, race and sexuality in the harassment and bias people experience.
Attend one or both of our upcoming sessions on this important topic. Register for each one separately.
Session One (virtual): October 25th, 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Chapter member, Nancy Heykes will briefly lift up key report findings and recommendations, then focus on questions surrounding “What could this mean for us?” to set the stage for our follow up session. RSVP for Session One here.
Session Two (in-person): November 1st, 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
These smaller regional follow up discussions will give participants an opportunity to share, support, and brainstorm together. Participants should expect to leave this session feeling supported and valued by others in the profession. Locations available in Appleton and Green Bay. RSVP for Session Two below.
