You're invited! Join us for the 2019 National Philanthropy Day Celebration!
Friday, November 15, 2019
Bridgewood Resort Hotel & Conference Center, Neenah, Wisconsin

Founded in 1992, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Northeast Wisconsin Chapter has been providing opportunities to develop and hone the skills of fundraising professionals throughout our community. Today the AFP Northeast Wisconsin Chapter welcomes more than 100 members annually, who represent a wide variety of nonprofits and philanthropic areas including health care, education, human services, arts and culture, animal welfare, environmental conservation, and religiously affiliated organizations.

Where we work may be diverse, but we are united by our active efforts to promote the welfare of all members of our community. Our job is to motivate our community to create impact through acts of generosity, selflessness, kindness, and compassion. National Philanthropy Day offers us the opportunity to celebrate these acts!

National Philanthropy Day (NPD) provides an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of giving and all that it has made possible. Specifically, NPD:

  • Celebrates the endless daily contributions individuals and organizations make to countless causes and missions.

  • Shows appreciation for all that has been accomplished in the name of giving.

  • Allow philanthropists to step into the spotlight for a brief moment and remind our communities, our society, and the world that the spirit of giving is alive and well.

Your local AFP Northeast Wisconsin Chapter will recognize National Philanthropy Day on Friday, November 15, 2019, and we invite you to join us as we celebrate changing the world with not only a giving heart, but a heart of gratitude!

We have an exceptional line up for the day, including:

  • Keynote speaker Laura Fredricks will share how we can confidently and successfully ask as nonprofits and philanthropic professionals. Laura is a famous author, speaker and presenter. She is the author of a number of books, her most recent being, “The ASK: For Business, For Philanthropy, for Everyday Living.” Read more on Laura at expertontheask.com.

  • Breakout speaker Adam Clevenger who will present on The Day the Donors Quit: Stewardship Lessons from Crayons based on Bloomerang's most popular post from 2015.

  • An intimate awards ceremony to honor local philanthropists, professionals, and volunteers.
