AFP Chapter Mentorship Program

Learn about our   local AFP Chapter’s Mentorship program for 2023.

Are you a new leader or fundraiser and you wish you had   someone experienced you could consult when you have questions? Is fundraising   part of your job, but you wish you knew more? Do you have experience in   leadership or fundraising that you are willing to share? Then join us to explore joining AFP’s Mentorship program!

At this mentorship program, you will hear how you can   become a mentor, what it means to be a mentor and mentee, and you will hear   from a currently matched mentee and mentor and how the program has provided   great value to their work. Join us to   explore what becoming a mentor or mentee can mean for you.

The 2023 mentee and mentor applications are due March 3rd with “matches” being completed   early March.

Stay tuned for the date and location of the Mentorship Kick Off & Networking   Event late March.

Mentors need to be AFP members, but Mentees can be   non-members. (Non-members pay a nominal $30 fee to participate as mentees).

• Already matched with an AFP mentor or mentee? Celebrate your mentorship by signing up to join us!
• Mentors and mentees commit to meeting once every 2-3 months for a year.
• Mentors must be AFP members. Members and non-members are welcome as mentees. For non-members, program participation is $30 per year.

Can't make this meeting, but sill want to participate? complete a mentor application or mentee application by March 10.
